The University of Wyoming wrestling team followed its dual loss to the University of Nebraska on Friday by placing 17 different Cowboys at the UNK Open in Kearney, Neb. on Saturday. Six Cowboys even came away with the gold between elite and amateur divisions.

Archie Colgan (157 pounds), Ronnie Stevens (133), Chaz Polson (184), Cale Davidson (197) and Branson Ashworth (165) all won their respective elite divisions while freshman and Sheridan native Hayden Hastings won the amateur division at 165 pounds.

Freshman and former Laramie standout Carless Looney lost in the championship of the 184-pound amateur division.

The Cowboy wrestling team returns to action for the Cliff Keen Invite, a two-day invitational that takes place from Dec. 1-2 in Las Vegas.
