Raghib "Rocket" Ismail Jr., a 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver from Carrolton, Texas, committed to Wyoming on Feb. 19. The Cowboys offered him a scholarship Feb. 13. Ismail signed with Wyoming on Feb. 24.

He is the son of former NFL receiver Rahghib "Rocket" Ismail, who finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting at Notre Dame. Ismail Jr. originally signed with TCU and comes to Wyoming from Cisco College in Texas.

He also had an offer from FAMU.

Last season, he had a conference-leading 48 receptions for 434 yards and four touchdowns in seven games.

He had been ranked a two-star recruit by 247 Sports.

He is the first transfer of Wyoming's 2018 recruiting class. The Cowboys had just one transfer in their 2017 class, none from junior colleges.
