No. 14 Duke outscored the University of Wyoming women's basketball team 25-11 in the third quarter en route to a 63-40 victory Tuesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Cowgirls (7-4) trailed only 25-19 at the half, but the Blue Devils (8-2) pulled away in the third quarter to end Wyoming's three-game winning streak.

Marta Gomez and Liv Roberts scored nine points apiece to lead UW, with Taylor Rusk adding seven points and Bailee Cotton six. Cotton also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and Roberts had seven.

The Cowgirls open Mountain West play next Thursday when the play at San Diego State.
