The University of Wyoming women's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 67-62 victory over the University of Montana on Monday in Laramie.

The game was close throughout, with the Cowgirls taking a 26-25 lead into the half. Wyoming outscored Montana (0-1) by two points in both the third and fourth quarters.

Senior Live Roberts led the Cowgirls with 15 points, with Bailee Cotton (11), Clara Tapia (10) and Sladjana Rakovic (10) joining her in double figures.

The Cowgirls have their first road test Thursday when they play at Denver University.
