The University of Wyoming women's basketball team will look to improve to 2-0 Monday when it hosts the University of Montana.

The Cowgirls opened the season Saturday with a 73-47 victory over Division II Adams State. Senior Liv Roberts had a game-high 14 points and added four rebounds in the win. Sladjana Rakovic had a career-high 13 points for UW.

This will be the season opener for Montana, which returns all five starters from last year's team that finished 7-23 and 4-14 in the Big Sky.

Wyoming leads the all-time series against the Grizzlies 10-9 after a 67-42 victory last year.
