Northern Iowa outscored the University of Wyoming women's basketball team 19-7 down the stretch to earn a 55-40 win Saturday at the UCF Thanksgiving Classic in Orlando, Florida.

The Cowgirls (4-1) trailed 36-33 after Taylor Rusk's basket with 8:28 remaining, but UNI (2-2) went on a 12-0 run to take control.

Senior Liv Roberts was the only UW player to score in double figures as she finished with 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting. Bailee Cotton added eight points for the Cowgirls, who missed all eight of their 3-point attempts.

Wyoming faces IUPUI on Sunday before playing at Montana State on Wednesday.
