The University of Wyoming women's basketball team built a 36-11 halftime lead and cruised to a 77-25 victory over Chadron State College on Friday at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.

In the exhibition opener for the Cowgirls, Marta Gomez finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the way. Marleah Campbell added 12 points, while Skyler Snodgrass and Rachelle Tucker pitched in with nine points apiece.

All 11 Wyoming players who played in the game broke into the scoring column.

The Cowgirls open the regular season on Nov. 11 when they host Adams State.
