University of Wyoming senior Audra DeStefano closed out her impressive college career in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

The Gillette native finished 10th in her heat and 21st overall with a time of 10 minutes, 20.50 seconds. As a result of her finish, DeStefano earned honorable mention All-America honors.

Also Thursday, Arizona State's Maggie Ewen broke the NCAA record in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 240 feet, 7 inches.

Wyoming senior Scott Carter will compete in the triple jump Friday.
