It happened again.

Wyoming's road game at Texas State on Saturday night was delayed with 8:34 remaining in the second quarter, because of lightning in the area. It was the third time Wyoming has fallen victim to a lightning delay in five games this season.

The delay officially began at 6:03 p.m. MT, and has thus far carried on for more than three hours. There has not been an estimated time for the game to resume.

The Cowboys also experienced lightning delays in home victories against Idaho on Sept. 7 and Northern Colorado on Sept. 14. Before the game was delayed, Wyoming and Texas State were tied 7-7, with the Wyoming offense beginning a new drive following a Marqueston Huff interception.

To this point, Wyoming Brett Smith is 10-12 for 119 yards. Brandon Miller scored the Cowboys' only touchdown on a 4-yard run, though he has only rushed for eight total yards on five carries.

This story will be updated if or when the game resumes.
