The University of Wyoming volleyball team on Wednesday released its 2018 schedule, which includes 15 home matches and four teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament last season.

The Cowgirls, who went 17-14 and competed in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship last year, also host two tournaments before beginning Mountain West play. Wyoming hosts the Rumble in the Rockies on Aug. 24-25 -- where it will face NCAA qualifier Colorado -- and the UniWyo Invite on Sept. 7-8.

UW will also compete in tournaments in Portland, Oregon, and Ames, Iowa, where it will play NCAA qualifiers LIU-Brooklyn and Iowa State, respectively.

The Cowgirls open MW play at San Jose State on Sept. 20 and host their first conference match on Sept. 22 against Nevada. They play rival and NCAA qualifier Colorado State on Oct. 2 in Laramie and Oct. 30 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
