The 23rd-ranked University of Wyoming wrestling team competes in its first true home dual Friday when the Cowboys welcome CSU Bakersfield to the UniWyo Sports Complex.

Wyoming is coming off a 4-0 showing at the UNC Duals last weekend, with victories over North Carolina, Duke, Army and American.

Senior Bryce Meredith (141 pounds), junior Branson Ashworth (165) and redshirt freshman Montorie Bridges (133) each went 4-0 while senior Archie Colgan (157) was 3-0 and earned his 100th career victory.

Meredith is currently ranked No. 1 at 141 by Flowrestling, InterMat, Trackwrestling and The Open Mat. Bridges, Colgan, Ashworth and redshirt freshman Sam Turner are also in the national rankings.

The Cowboys conclude the weekend with a dual at Oregon State on Sunday.
