The Mustangs (8-0) had plenty of opportunities to score, cashing in on 27 of their 64 field-goal attempts while holding the Rangers (2-2) to 20 field goals on 40 attempts.

At Green River, the Fillies trailed the Rebels at halftime but came out strong in the second half to notch the victory on the second day of the Flaming Gorge Invitational.
NC (6-2) was behind 17-16 at halftime but used a rejuvenated effort in the second half to spark the victory.
"We were able to use a lot of bodies and wear them down in the second half," NC coach Doug Diehl said. "The kids coming off the bench brought a lot of intensity, and I don't think (Rich County) was ready for our pressure defense."
The Fillies wrap up play in the tournament today against Riverton. Tipoff is at 11:45 a.m. at Green River High School.
