TAKE CARE OF THE BALL: The top teams in each classification in turnover ratio — Kelly Walsh (+14), Star Valley (+12), Big Piney (+10) and Upton-Sundance (+15) are a combined 22-5. On the other hand, the teams with the worst ratio in each class — Gillette (-12), Jackson (-16), Burns (-5) and Wind River (-9) — are a combined 3-23.

STREAKING: Kaycee extended its winning streak to 26 games with a 74-0 shutout of Lingle-Fort Laramie. ... Cheyenne South has now lost 13 in a row after its 27-8 defeat to Laramie. ... Gillette is in danger of having its 28-year run of qualifying for the playoffs end. ... Natrona County (26) and Cokeville (25) kept their playoffs streak intact.

CLEAN SLATES: Three QBs — Kaycee’s Hunter Rouse, Midwest’s Kayden Best and Snake River’s JD Corson — have yet to throw an interception this season. In the past two years Rouse has thrown 41 TD passes without being picked off.

CENTURY CLUB: Sheridan head coach Don Julian needs to win only three more games to reach 100 victories with the Broncs. Julian, who won 63 games at Riverton (1993-2001), would be only the fifth active coach with 100 victories at one school. The others are Todd Dayton at Cokeville (311), Steve Harshman at Natrona County (186), Mark Bullington at Southeast (137) and Ray Kumpula at Glenrock (123).
