Laramie's Lexi Pulley was named the state's Gatorade Girls Soccer Player of the Year on Monday.

The junior midfielder led Class 4A with 25 goals and led the Plainsmen with 12 assists. Pulley is a three-time all-state selection.

She helped the Plainsmen (13-6) advance to the state championship game before Gillette ended Laramie's season with a 4-1 victory.

Laramie finished fourth at the East Regional but knocked off West Regional champ Rock Springs in the state quarterfinals and Cheyenne East in the semifinals.
