Casper Rockies President and General Manager Danny Tetzlaff recently resigned his post to accept another position within the baseball industry, according to a team release.
"It's sad for me to leave the Casper Rockies and this great community, but I have a tremendous opportunity in front of me," Tetzlaff said in the release.
Tetzlaff, who worked as the Rockies' stadium manager during their inaugural season before working one season with the New Haven Ravens, returned to Casper in 2003 as the assistant general manager and was promoted to general manager following the 2004 season. He was named the 2006 Pioneer League Executive of the Year.
