Gillette College Button

After just three rodeos, the Gillette College women's team have a commanding lead in the Central Rocky Mountain Region team standings.

Pronghorns lead two of three events, with Riley Addington sitting atop the barrel racing and Quincy Segelke holding down the top spot in the breakaway roping. In addition, Gillette College has three of the top six in barrel racing, four of the top six in breakaway and the No. 3 goat tyer.

The Pronghorns enter this weekend's Rustler Roundup at Central Wyoming College with 1,520 points. The University of Wyoming, which has the region's top goat tyer in Casey Reimler, is second with 535 points.

Sheridan College leads the men's standings with 1,245 points, followed by Gillette College (1,155) and Laramie County Community College (1,115).

Sheridan College bareback bronc riders Hunter Carlson and Chance Ames are first and second, respectively, in the standings and the Generals hold down four of the top eight places in the event.
