The recently completed column, which is used for processing oil from sand fields, is one of 24 that have been built at High Country Fabrication over the past two-and-a-half years. Weighing around 180,000 pounds and stretching 142 feet, the column will be hauled 1,500 miles to oil sands in Fort McMurray, Alberta in Canada. In this series of photos taken last week, a small herd of pronghorns makes its way through the Red Hills region of the Gros Ventre drainage, while a determined doe swims the swollen waters of the Gros Ventre River.
