'Spring Awakening'Casper photographer Michael Flicek won an honorable mention in the Nature, Flowers category of the 2009 International Photography Awards competition. His entry, "Spring Awakenings," includes three images of springtime blossoms captured in April in San Diego. This is the fourth year in a row that Flicek has won an award in the competition, which received 18,000 submissions from 104 countries.
