Snowy Range Summer

Dance Festival

The University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance’s Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival concludes with a gala concert on Saturday.

The production showcases works created by guest faculty and features student dancers, as well as performances by members of Repertory Dance Theatre.

The performances conclude 10 days of intensive study with distinguished faculty from around the country. Modern, ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and specialty classes were taught by Sharee Lane, Susan Israel Massey and Tony Waag. Nicholas Cendese, Sarah Donohue, Rosy Goodman, Toni Lugo, Nathan Shaw, Katie Winder and Aaron Wood from Salt Lake City-based Repertory Dance Theatre also are on this year’s faculty.

In addition to master classes, festival activities included seminars, lectures and two evenings of discussion with teaching faculty.
