The newly created Wyoming Business Hall of Fame will induct its first five members on Nov. 19 at the Governor Matthew H. Mead Business Forum in Cheyenne.

The hall of fame will recognize Wyoming people with a variety of business experiences, some with impact on the world and some more focused on the state and its communities. In that group are W. Edwards Deming, Clarene Law, James Cash (J.C.) Penney, Homer Scott and H.A. Dave True. The hall of fame will be on the University of Wyoming campus at the College of Business.

The Casper Star-Tribune's Sunday business section will highlight each of the inductees during the next five weeks, leading to the formal induction ceremony on Nov. 19.

The public is invited to register for the Inaugural Wyoming Business Hall of Fame Dinner and/or the business forum at http://bit.ly/H6b2ir.
