Celebrate Recovery every Friday
Celebrate Recovery meets at 5:30 p.m. every Friday at Highland Park Community Church, just south of Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital on East Second Street. A family meal starts the evening, followed by praise and worship. At 7 p.m. there’s either a lesson from Celebrate Recovery’s planned curriculum or a testimony by a person who has found recovery through Christ. Then people go to gender-specific small groups until 8:30 p.m. when dessert and fellowship conclude the evening. Child care is available at no cost. For more information contact Chris at 265-4073.
Marathon vols meet
Marathon volunteers are excited to share the community with people that have already registered from 32 different states, Spain and Canada, for the June 2 Casper Marathon and accompanying races.
To make this a safe and enjoyable experience for both the local running community and those coming from out of state, the group is seeking volunteers to help at aid stations, road crossings and help cheering the runners on.
There will be two separate meetings for those who want to help out on Race Day, Sunday, June 2, 2019. Both meetings will be held at Crossroads Park. The first one is 6 p.m., this Friday and the second is 2 p.m. on Sunday. Each meeting should last no longer than an hour. Hope to see you either this coming Friday or Sunday. You can also feel free to email any questions you may have to email@example.com.
