Rotary hears workforce training

The Rotary Club of Casper welcomes Lesha Thorvaldson, Workforces and Training Specialist at Casper College, as its speaker at its noon luncheon meeting at the Ramkota Hotel. Rotary Club members and their guests are invited.

Thorvaldson has over 10 years of experience in developing, planning, coordinating and facilitating workforce training programs. She has extensive experience working with varied industries and people in Wyoming. As a Wyoming native, her love of the people has led to her specialty in working with individuals and companies to match their needs to solutions.

Photographers meet

The Casper Photography Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7:15 p.m. The new location is the Seventh Day Adventist Fellowship Hall, 2625 Casper Mountain Rd. Please use the entrance at the rear of the building.

The program will be the quarterly challenge “portraits.” Deede McKendree will provide refreshments.

DAR meets

Fort Caspar Chapter, NSDAR will meet at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church on Poplar Street in Casper. Social time will proceed the featured program “The NPL Literacy Project,” which will be presented at 12:30 p.m. followed by a short business meeting. Members, their guests and prospective DAR members are invited to attend.

Dance on Mondays

The Casper Dance Club classes are held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday nights at the Senior Center ballroom, 1831 E. Fourth. Only $3. Beginners and experienced dancers of all ages are welcome. Two-step, waltz, cha-cha, East and West coast, etc.
