Mothers’ Day brunch at Elks

Mother’s Day Brunch in the Bob Cates Family Ball Room at the Casper Elks Lodge will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast, hash browns, baron of beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, hard boiled eggs, vegetable tray, tossed salad, fruit salad, crepes, coffee, juice and milk. Cost is $15 for adults, children 6 to 12 are $8 and 5 and under free with a paying adult. Please make reservations for parties of six or more (this will help us set the tables). Be prepared to wait in line. There is an elevator available for easy access to the ballroom, plus the new chairlift on the stairs. Open to the public. For more information call 234-4839 or 237-2432.

Moms skate free

Casper Ice Arena announces “mothers skate free.” Treat your mom to Mother’s Day Skate by bringing her to the ice arena for public skating from 1 to 3 p.m. Mothers receive free admission and skate rental with another paid admission.

Admission is $5 and skate rental is $2.75. Skate tutors are available for $3 each. Children 4 years old and under are free with a paid admission.
