Learn Facebook 101

Teen Writers new group

Come check out our new monthly teen program, Teen Writers, at 4 p.m. All teens in grades 7-12 are encouraged to come. Teen Writers will meet the first Thursday of every month in the Teen Zone at 4:00 p.m. Come ready to write, share your writing and listen to other writers. Composition notebooks and pens/pencils will be provided.

Casper Art Walk

Sparkle Bash at Nic

The Nicolaysen Art Museum, celebrating its 30th year on Collins Drive, plans two unique events this week. Both take place at the Nic, 400 E. Collins Dr.

The first, the Sparkle Bash, is 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. Sponsored by the McMurry Foundation, it will feature 45 works of art, all available for purchase and priced under $300. The evening will also feature live music from Denver-based Kerry Pastine and the Crime Scene as well as an aerial cocktail pour by performer and metallurgist Betsy Bower. Additional attractions include a live art demonstration by street artist Rugie, a free sparkle photo booth, Gruner Brothers Brewing beer on tap and heavy hors d’oeuvres by Johnson Restaurant Group. Tickets are $25 for members, $45 for the general public.
