3D printer intro and demo
Learn about the Natrona County Library’s 3D printer at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, October 8, in the Creation Station. A staff member will provide an overview and demonstration. The 3D printer is provided by the Natrona County Library Foundation. The Library’s Creation Station is a flexible, community, collaborative makerspace for individuals and small groups of all ages who can use STEAM-related supplies and equipment to bring their inventions and creations to life. Dem men meet
The Natrona County Democratic Men’s Group will host Dr. Nick Whipps, Veterans and International Student Coordinator from Casper College at 5:30 p.m., at the Yellowstone Garage, 355 West Yellowstone. Never Too Old Book Club
A discussion of the NY Times bestseller, “Dread Nation” by Justina Ireland, will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 8, at Metro Coffee Co. The Never Too Old Book Club, sponsored by the Natrona County Library, discusses young adult literature with adult appeal. The group is open to both teens and adults, with parent-teen pairs especially encouraged. Stop by the Library’s second floor desk to register and pick up a copy of this month’s book. Home application workshop
Make sure your application to Habitat for Humanity’s homeownership program is complete by attending a workshop at 6:30 p.m. The fall application cycle ends October 31, but the following application cycle will be in January.
