Voter Guide 2016

In their own words

Casper Star-Tribune Communications is pleased to offer this general election voter guide.

Candidates were given the opportunity to explain their views, their record, and why, in their own words, voters should cast their ballots for them.

The guide will appear in print Oct. 16 in the Casper Star-Tribune and Oct. 19 in the Casper Journal, three weeks prior to the Nov. 8 general election.

Responses are published verbatim, and not edited for style or grammar.

Candidate questions

Candidates were given the opportunity to respond to the following:

1. What are the most pressing issues facing your constituents, and how should they be addressed?

2. Is it a priority to work with people of different political ideologies? Why or why not?

3. Feel free to address philosophical perspectives you think would help voters make a good decision in your race.
