Fiesta WYO returns with celebration of food, music and culture


The annual Fiesta WYO returns with a celebration of food, music and culture. The festival showcases Hispanic dancers and offers crafts, vendors and a jalapeno eating contest. Headlining music act Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar takes the stage at 7:15 p.m.

The ensemble of mariachi musicians -- led by three-time Grammy winner Jimmy K. Cuellar -- has performed at major theaters including the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Bakersfield Fox Theatre and the Auditorium Theater in Chicago.

The group in 2017 went viral with Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles to more than 15 million views in a 2017 production by the "mite" network to recreate "Tale as Old as Time" from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
