Learn history hands-on
The Casper Chapter of the Cowboy Future Historians invites middle through high school students to learn about history through hands-on activities. This month’s meeting features personal items used by World War I doughboys and World War II G.I.s.
“How did they shave? What type of underwear did they wear? Were those wool shirts scratchy? What did servicemen 100 or 75 years ago do for entertainment? What did they read? Were those uniforms comfortable? How about those helmets?” are some of the questions they’ll explore. They’ll even have a chance to try on uniforms from World War I and II.
