Swift Idol auditions open

Auditions are open for Fall River Propane Swift Idol 2020, where singers are slated to vie for a $10,000 grand prize determined by audience vote Aug. 3 during the Lincoln County Fair in Afton. Anyone in the U.S. age 12 or older as of May 1 may submit at swiftidol.com until midnight Monday, May 25. Submissions must be audio file only, sung a capella and uploaded online. Those under age 18 must provide approval from their legal guardian.  

Celebrity singer Alex Boye’ is again is scheduled to join as a judge. A digital video broadcast will be available through SVI Media. The competition features eight contestants, seven chosen from the auditions by the judges. Katelyn Petersen of Cokeville has already been selected as part of Swift Idol LIVE held May 1. 

"This year, Fall River Propane Swift Idol has once again taken a step forward in establishing itself as the largest vocal competition in the intermountain west," according to a press release from the organizers.
