The Brinton Museum opens, continues online offerings

The Brinton Museum opens Friday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays at 239 Brinton Road, Big Horn. The "15th Illustrator Show" featuring Theodore Waddell's art from the "Tucker" children's series is among exhibits on display.

A drawing contest based on the books about a Burmese mountain dog is open to ages 3 to 12 by May 31. Winners in each age group receive a Tucker book. Information about the exhibit and contest  is available at thebrintonmuseum.org/event/theodore-waddell-15th-illustrator-show.

The museum's YouTube channel also features a video of last week's virtual reception for Sonja Caywood featuring the artist's talk about her show at the museum as well as a talk from Wyoming impressionist artist Bob Barlow.
