John Roberts y Pan Blanco

Internationally acclaimed Latin funk band John Roberts y Pan Blanco is known for "danceable, original scores influenced by West African, Funk, Soul, Salsa, Jazz and R&B," according to the Whitney Center for the Arts, will return to Sheridan. 

Roberts teaches at Montana State University Billings and has toured, recorded and performed around the world, including with artists such as Ricardo Lemvo, Bobby Womack, The Temptations and Chaka Khan. Performances and recordings include multiple Grammys, Chris Botti, Feist, Sting, Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga, NPR, PBS, Disney and others, according to the press release. 

Besides the concert, Roberts will host a free masterclass open to all on jazz and world music 4:30 p.m. Friday in room 137 of the Whitney Academic Center at Sheridan College.
