Sunday breakfast at Elks
The Casper Elks Lodge serves breakfast open to the public on Sundays from 8 to 11 a.m. Serving pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage links, potatoes, scrambled eggs, French toast and omelets to order. New to the menu is build your own breakfast burrito. Also served is toast, juice, tea and coffee. All you can eat for $7, children 5 to 12 are $3, 4 and under are free. National president speaks at E Free
Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 4100 Casper Mountain Road, welcomes Kevin Kompelein, president of the Evangelical Free Church of America, and his wife, Becky, to Casper. He will speak at worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Kompelein has served as a pastor in California and Minnesota, along with being the ReachGlobal director of missions in Africa. The Evangelical Free Church of America has 350,000 constituents in 1500 churches in the United States, as well as over 600 missionaries serving in 80 countries. Country gospel concert
Sage Creek Gospel Band will perform in concert at 6 p.m. at Sunrise Baptist Church, 3990 S. McKinley St. A free will offering will be taken. All are welcome to enjoy old gospel music.
Jam session at Eagles
Monthly jam session will be held at the Eagles from 4 to 8 p.m. Join in the fun on stage, listening or dancing. The Eagle Riders will prepare hamburgers. No admission; all talents accepted on stage. Entry at north parking lot door, additional parking across the street or the entire corner lot at A and Durbin streets.
The next business meeting of the Casper NAACP will be at 6 p.m. at the Parkway Plaza. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People works for the civil rights of people of all colors. Everyone is welcome.
The action for March is to donate cereal to the Food for Thought Project. Please bring boxes of cereal (any size) to the March 12 meeting. The Food for Thought Project packs bags of food each week for hundreds of school children who need food on the weekends and during school breaks.
