Sunday breakfast at Elks

Breakfast is served at the Casper Elks Lodge every Sunday from 8 to 11 a.m. Serving pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage links, potatoes, scrambled eggs, French toast and omelets to order. New to the menu is build-your-own breakfast burrito. Also served is toast, juice, tea and coffee. All you can eat for $7, children 5 to 12 are $3, 4 and under are free. This is open to the public. Festival of Lessons and Carols

Sunday, December 30, 10:30 a.m. service will be the Festival of Lessons and Carols at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4700 S. Poplar. Come join a family-friendly service of storytelling and singing. Lessons and carols at Christ Episcopal

On Sunday, December 30 at 9:30 a.m. the annual service of Lessons and Carols gives one more chance to sing our favorite Christmas carols before Epiphany begins on Sunday, January 6. Join Christ Episcopal Church, 415 West Cedar, Glenrock, to hear Scripture and be a joyful voice in picking up those hymnals and sing out. Everyone is invited and welcomed.

UU discusses tradition

The Unitarian Universalist Community of Casper is a doctrine-free spiritual community joining together to make a difference for the good, and welcoming all who come with open hearts and open minds. Located at 1040 West 15th Street, Sunday services are at 10 a.m. with youth programming and child care available.

On December 30, Melody Haler and Stuart Mackenzie will lead a discussion forum on the December worship theme of “Tradition.”

Skate at DSS

David Street Station ice skating hours are noon to 9 p.m. Prices are $5 adults, $4 youth 5 to 12 and $2 toddlers 4 and under. Skate rental is $3, skate helpers and helmets free. Everyone under 12 must wear a helmet.

Ski at Hogadon

Hogadon Basin Ski Area will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Sunday, January 6.

Skate at Ice Arena

The Casper Ice Arena hosts Skate All Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $6, which includes skate rental. Participants can come and go throughout the session. Skating supports are available for $3 each. Children 4 years old and under are free with a paid admission.
