Benefit breakfast for Salvation Army

VFW Post 9439 and Auxiliary, 1800 Bryan Stock Trail, will host a benefit breakfast for Salvation Army from 8 to 11 a.m. All proceeds will go to Salvation Army.

Menu includes ham, bacon, sausage, biscuits with sausage gravy, eggs, hash browns, green chili, pancakes, danish, fruit and beverages. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 10. Please come out and give your support. The public is welcome. For more information call 235-4867.

Sunday breakfast at Elks

Breakfast is served at the Casper Elks Lodge every Sunday from 8 to 11 a.m. Serving pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage links, potatoes, scrambled eggs, French toast and omelets to order. New to the menu is build-your-own breakfast burrito. Also served is toast, juice, tea and coffee. All you can eat for $7, children 5 to 12 are $3, 4 and under are free. Santa will be at breakfast on December 23. This is open to the public. For more information call 234-4839.

Skating at David Street

The David Street Station outdoor ice skating rink is open noon to 9 p.m. The cost to skate is $5 per adult and $4 per child. If you don’t have skates, they are available to rent for $3.

The Casper German Stammtisch hosts coffee with homemade baked goods and German Christmas carols from 2 to 4 p.m. at Mountain Plaza Assisted Living near Walmart West (4154 Talon Drive).

Pageant at church

Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 4100 Casper Mountain Rd., presents “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” In this delightful play, humorous events unfold as the dreadful Herdman children invade the church and take over the Christmas pageant. Admission is free. Performance is 4 p.m.
