Open enrollment begins
Open enrollment in the Natrona County School District begins Thursday through January 25.
During the Open Enrollment period, families are able to enroll their children for the 2019-20 school year. NCSD believes no single education style fits the needs of all children. Open Enrollment gives families the opportunity to find the schools that are best for their individual children. The Open Enrollment period is the time for families of the following groups of students to choose their school preference for the 2019-20 school year: New-to-NCSD students, incoming kindergarteners, students moving from 5th to 6th grade, students moving from 8th to 9th grade and students who wish to switch schools.
When choosing a school that best fits your child, you are encouraged to research schools before you make your selection. Each school in the district hosts an open house. To find the schedule, visit https://natronaschools.org/open-house-schedule/.
For dates of kindergarten screenings, see https://natronaschools.org/kindergarten-screenings/.
