Anna Fae (Wiers) Ise

LAKEWOOD, Colo.—Anna Fae (Wiers) Ise was born on March 28, 1927, in Zeeland, MI, and passed away on January 14, 2019, in Lakewood, CO. She was surrounded by her loving family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Fae graduated from High School in Zeeland, MI. Soon after that she moved with her family to Denver, CO, where she began working for an insurance agency. She met and married the love of her life, Henry (Hank) Ise, on a blind date and they married in 1950. They made their home in Denver, CO, where they had their children and appreciated their family and the outdoors.

In 1963 they moved to Casper, WY, and enjoyed their life there for 51 years. Fae and Hank attended Highland Park Community Church in Casper, where Fae was very active in bible study and church activities. Fae had many friends in Casper and liked hiking and picnics on Casper Mountain. She and Hank also enjoyed traveling and spending time with their children and later their grandchildren.

Fae and Hank moved to Arvada, CO in 2014 to be closer to family. They enjoyed living in Arvada and were active in their retirement community. Hank sadly passed away in 2015.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Janet Ise and husband, Dave Corzine of Arvada, CO, and Tom Ise and wife, Phyllis of Casper, WY. Fae’s beloved grandchildren are Sara Ise, who passed away in 1999, Kurtis Butler of Laramie, WY, and Evan Corzine of Beijing, China. Fae is also survived by her brothers, Floyd Wiers of Lakewood, CO and Frank Wiers, of Scottsbluff, NE; and her niece, Valarie Wiers of Lakewood, CO. She is also survived by many other family members in the Denver area.

A celebration of Fae’s life will be held on February 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Aspen Mortuary, 6370 Union Street, Arvada, CO 80004.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Jason Friends Foundation, 340 West B Street, Suite 101, Casper, WY, 82601.
