Beverley Lea Estes
CASPER—Beverley Lea Estes, 82 passed away August 11, 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions in Casper Wyoming with her family by her side. She was born January 1, 1937 in Wood, South Dakota to Royx Bunch and Benjerman Petera. Beverley was married to the love of her life Ron Estes, Sr. for nearly 61 years. Beverley and Ron had three children, Bruce, Kim and Ron, Jr. Beverley graduated from Natrona County High school in 1955 where she was active in many school and community functions.
Beverley also was employed for 27 years at Natrona County High School, starting as the registrar and then moved for the remainder of her career to the main office as the office manger and secretary to the principals. Beverley loved NCHS where she touched the lives of countless students and faculty members.
Beverley pioneered the Natrona County Organization of Office Personnel and served as its first president for several years. Beverley loved her family and was her son’s biggest fan on the wrestling mat and football field. She loved to play bridge, gambling, playing card games, reading books, dancing and singing. She loved spending time with family and friends. Beverley will be remembered for her kindness, wonderful smile, sense of humor, and love for family and joy for life. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church and devout Christian. Beverley was preceded in death by her mother, Royx Robinson; stepfather, Richard O. Robinson; father, Benjerman Petera; and son. Bruce Gonce.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Estes, Sr.; children, Kim Forgey ( Kevin), and Ron Estes, Jr. (Jodie). She has six grandchildren, Annique, Chrisa, Charis, Melanie, Dusty, and Stephanie. She also had eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
A private memorial will be held for family at a later date.
