Elsie Louise (Ehritz) Lange

ARLINGTON, Tex.—Elsie Louise (Ehritz) Lange passed away peacefully Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Arlington, TX with family by her side. Elsie was born August 3, 1934 in Allentown, PA to Joseph and Elsie Ehritz. She attended Central Catholic High School and graduated in 1951. She married the love of her life Richard Charles Lange, Sr. on November 26, 1955 and then moved to Casper, WY a year later. They were happily married for 57 years and raised three children Richard Lange, Jr. (Peggy), Carol Phifer and Jane Mauzy.

Elsie was involved in several social groups including the Casper Service League, Viva La Joy in the 1960’s and 70’s, and she was a Life Master Bridge player. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and was baptized Catholic and confirmed. Elsie also enjoyed competitive bowling, traveling and spending time with family. Elsie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and adored her husband. She was a very elegant woman, beautiful inside and out with an optimistic and fun-loving personality.

Survivors include her three children; siblings, Eleanor Howard, Pat Hoffman, and Joe Ehritz; her grandchildren, Nichole Lange, Tiffany Turner, and Alisha Lange; and her great-grandchildren, Autumn and Carter Turner.

Her parents, husband, brother, Raymond and grandson, Garret preceded her in death.

Elsie brightened and touched the lives of many and will be missed by those who had the opportunity to know her.
