Jean Marie (St. George) McWethy

Corpus Christi, Texas

October 16, 1972 - August 04, 2015

On August 4, 2015, Jean Marie (St. George) McWethy passed away in her home in Corpus Christi, TX. Jean was born October 16, 1972. She attended school in Casper, graduating from NCHS in 1991. In September, 1990, Jean married Joe Allen. Shorty following graduation, they moved to Ft. Collins, CO; then League City, TX. They had two sons, Jacob and Jordan, to whom Jean was a proud and doting mom.

On April 25, 2009, Jean married the love of her life, Justin McWethy, in a fairytale wedding in Orange Grove, TX.

Jean was an amazing soul, with a contagious smile, and unparalleled energy. She was straight-forward and honest. She met strangers with a smile and friends with an open heart. She embodied class, style, and grace. She made everyone's birthday special (often with the generous use of confetti), without the prompt of social media. Jean made the happiness of others a priority. She loved reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband, sons, and friends. She worked as a loan processor, with a bright future in the company. She particularly enjoyed coaching her son, the "Handsome Jordan Allen", in football, from the stands, and, occasionally, the announcer's box. There was no question that her family and friends were her heart.

Jean is survived by her husband, Justin McWethy of Corpus Christi, TX; sons, Jacob and Jordan Allen of Houston, TX; father-in-law, Zack (Diane) McWethy, of Atlanta, GA; mother-in-law, Merlee (Jonathan)Walters, of Austin, TX; mother, Amanda Riedel, of Pahrump, NV; sisters, Mary Whisman, of Loveland, OH and Kim (Kenneth) Cooper, of Jefferson City, MO; brother, Raymond St. George, Sr., of Eldon, MO; longtime friends, Matthew Carr, of Corpus Christi, TX, Peg Reed, of Casper, Margaret Bloom, of Casper, and Becki Friend, of Hesperia, CA.

She was preceded in death by her father; step-father; and aunt, Mary.

A celebration of her beautiful soul was held in her home on August 12, 2015.
