CASPER—Mrs. Jeannie Kay Williams Clements, of Casper, WY, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the age of 61.
Jeannie was born to James Roy Williams and Anna Marjorie (Anderson) Williams on April 6, 1957 in Jackson, Tennessee. Jeannie’s early years were spent in Lexington, Tennessee, where she was surrounded by many friends and a large, close-knit family. She went to Lexington High School, where she was involved in numerous clubs and activities. After high school, she attended Middle Tennessee State University and optician school at Southern College of Optometry. It was here that she met John Clements, her husband of 41 years. They married in Lexington, Tennessee in 1978 and the two moved to Wyoming to start their life together.
Jeannie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and valued member of the Casper community. She had a tremendous love for her family and friends. Her love was contagious, and her caring nature and Southern charm left a lasting impression on all who met her. Jeannie’s loving nature was evident in her small deeds, words of encouragement, warm hugs, compassion, thoughtfulness, and her desire to make other’s lives’ better.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, Dr. John K. Clements; her son and his wife, Dr. Ryan and Christina Clements; her daughter and her husband, Kelli and Jeremy Moyle; her brother, Jim Williams; and four grandchildren, Emmy Moyle, Adelynn Moyle, Tyler Clements and Emily Clements; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy and Margie.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Highland Park Community Church.
