CASPER—Mary Irby, 91, went home to her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2019. She was born April 7, 1928 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, daughter of Francis and Mattie (Howard) McFarland. She married her husband of almost 60 years, Charles H. Irby on September 1, 1951.
Mary taught in Natrona County Schools for many years.
She is survived by four daughters. Nanette Gottfried, Linda (Bob) Auch, Jean (Vic) Proctor, and Bonnie (Tim) Rostad; 11 grandchildren, Uriah (Sarah) Gottfried, Savannah (Dave) Rubie, Chris Apel, Curt (Larissa) Apel, Cara (Ray) Smith, Madeline Auch, Anessa Proctor, Sarah Proctor, Alana Proctor, Rachel Proctor, and Tiffany (Nate) Herndon; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Irby; son-in-law, Ray Gottfried; grandson, Zac Rostad; and great-grandson, Kellen Proctor.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, September 14th at Casper Alliance Church, 2000 Casper St., followed by burial at Wyoming Memorial Gardens, 7430 W. Yellowstone Hwy.
