CASPER — Tom and Robin (Soper) Broumley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration Aug. 12, 2016, at the Keg & Cork, hosted by Allison and Wade Griffin, and Jennifer and John Broumley.
They were married Sept. 17, 1966, at University Methodist Church in Austin, Texas.
She helped start and taught preschool at Shepherd of the Hills Child Development Center and worked for the Wyoming State Board of Pharmacy, before returning to elementary education. She taught in the Natrona County School District for 23 years before retiring in 2003.

He worked as a pharmacist at Bi-Rite Pharmacy for 10 years before joining the pharmacy at Kmart. He retired from Kmart after nearly 30 years.
Both are active volunteers in the community and in their church. She has been involved with the Nic, Casper Artists’ Guild, Natrona County Historical Society, Historic Preservation Commission, Citizen’s Transportation Advisory Commission, Central Wyoming Hospice, Garden Club, PEO Sisterhood, D.A.R., Alpha Delta Kappa teachers’ sorority and Alpha Xi Delta sorority. He has been involved with the Casper Rotary Club and Meals on Wheels, as well as the Casper Shrine Club and Masonic Lodge No. 15.
Their children are Allison and Wade Griffin, of Dallas, Texas, and John and Jennifer Broumley, of Allen, Texas. They have five grandchildren.
