Donald and Dolly (Frye) Loghry of Riverton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 26, 2018. They have lived in Riverton all 60 years and have a cabin on Union Pass near Dubois.

They were married October 26, 1958, in Lander at the First Baptist Church. He graduated from Riverton high School in 1955, while she was a graduate of Lander High School, also in 1955.

They have three children: Dena (Calvin) Christiansen of Douglas, Brian (Gaylene) of Prosper, Texas and Ron (Michelle) of Ogden, Utah.

They have six grandchildren, Brandon (Tara) Loghry, Andrew (Lindsey) Loghry, Andrea (Casey) Sterkel, Missy (Drew) Hodgs, Connor Loghry and Gentry Loghry. Their family includes two great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Colt Sterkel and another great-grandson due in January.

He was an electrician for 45 years. He started as an apprentice at Riverton Electric in 1957, and remained there 19 years. In 1976, Don moved to Intermountain Electric, where he worked for an additional 11 years before the couple opened their own company, Loghry Electric. He retired as a master electrician in 2001.

She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom until 1980, and then held positions at the Knit N’ Needle and Bi-Rite Drug prior to being the bookkeeper for Loghry Electric.

Don is a member of the Riverton Chapter of Master Masons. They were both members of the Eastern Star Chapter of Riverton.

They are members of the Riverton United Methodist Church and are active in their Reach Community.
