Snow, dirt and grime constantly build up on your windshield. Examine your wipers to ensure they are in good condition and that they don’t skip or smear. If they do, a fresh set of wiper blades is an easy, inexpensive fix.
While you’re at it, make sure there is plenty of de-icing windshield washer fluid in the reservoir. This is a good time to check your vehicle’s other fluids as well. When it comes to motor oil, synthetic oil is typically better suited for very cold temperatures.
