Try 3 months for $3

The public gardens brimming with blooms at the Agricultural Resource and Learning Center in Casper have been named a 2011 Showcase Garden winner by Plant Select, according to a release.

The Natrona County University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service site is one of three Showcase Garden winners among the more than 90 public gardens in the Rocky Mountains and High Plains that have acquired Plant Select plants for demonstration gardens.

Plant Select is a cooperative program administered by Denver Botanic Gardens and Colorado State University in concert with horticulturists and nurseries throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

"Donna Cuin [horticulturist] and the Natrona County Master Gardeners have done amazing things in the gardens around the extension offices," said Pat Hayward, executive director of Plant Select.
