A fire destroyed a trailer home in Natrona County on Monday afternoon.

Nobody was at home at the time of the blaze and the fire did not injure anyone, Mills interim Fire Chief Justin Melin said at the scene.

The fire was reported to authorities at about 3:15 p.m. and Mills, Casper and Natrona County firefighters responded to the scene west of Mills. By 4 p.m. the trailer had largely burned away to a husk.

The fire did not spread beyond the trailer.

Melin said the home will be declared a complete loss. A fire inspector will be called on to determine the cause of the blaze.
