Pedestrian Hit

An officer makes a call while clearing the scene where a vehicle hit a pedestrian crossing the street north of the intersection of Wyoming Boulevard and 13th Street on Friday night.

A car collided with a pedestrian Friday evening near Fort Caspar. Both the driver and pedestrian were hospitalized.

The severity of the two people's injuries was unknown to authorities Friday night.

A Casper police spokesman said the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Wyoming Boulevard just north of 13th Street.

The cause of the crash was still under investigation Friday night but neither alcohol nor drugs were thought to have contributed to the wreck.

At 8 p.m., five police vehicles closed the northbound lane of Wyoming Boulevard between 13th and First streets in Mills.
