Astronomy camp for littles

Can you believe it’s been 50 years since humans first set foot on the moon? Help your kids reach for the final frontier at the Casper Planetarium’s Summer Astronomy Camps. They’ll find the fun in stargazing, rocket launching, planet exploring and more, with one-week day camps designed by science educators and taught by an enthusiastic staff. July 22 to 26, 1 to 2 p.m.: “Sunbeams” for 4 year olds, $30.

Cheer and tumbling camp

Registration is now open for the Summer Junior Camps at 307 Dance Academy. These camps are open to all girls and boys ages 3 to 10. Each Camp will include learning specific skills, terminology, a daily snack and a daily craft. These fun filled camps end with an informal “recital” to showcase what the campers learned during the week. July 22-26, 2019 “Tricks & Cheers,” Cheer & Tumbling. All camps will take place at the 307 Dance Academy Studio, 225 N. Wolcott, 315-6297. (Payment is due at registration. Space is limited and registering early is recommended).

Summer meals for kids

Natrona County School District will provide free summer lunches Monday through Friday for anyone 18 and younger at the following sites this summer:

  • Casper Recreation Center, 1801 E. 4th St., to August 23, 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
  • Boys & Girls Club, 1701 E. K St., to August 23, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Boys & Girls Club Paradise Valley, 22 Magnolia, to August 23, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Boys & Girls Club Verda James, 701 Carriage Ln., to August 23, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
