A 12-year-old girl reported missing Tuesday has been located and is safe, the Natrona County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday afternoon.

The office said earlier Tuesday it was searching for Brianna Weinert. She had been last seen leaving her home on the 10000 block of Ridgeview Road in unincorporated Natrona County at 9:30 p.m. Monday and walking toward the intersection of Ridgeview and Cole Creek.

She is white, 3 foot 10 inches tall, weighing roughly 58 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She wears glasses.

The investigation into the details of her disappearance is ongoing, the afternoon release said.
