Police lights

A bicyclist who was hospitalized Monday after colliding with a pickup is expected to make a full recovery, police said Tuesday morning.

Sgt. Joey Wilhelm said authorities have not arrested or charged anyone in relation to the collision, which took place at 12th and Conwell streets at about 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Responding officers said Monday afternoon a truck hit the cyclist while turning right at a green light. They did not assign fault for the collision.

An ambulance crew took the cyclist to Wyoming Medical Center and at 4 p.m. Monday police spokeswoman Rebekah Ladd said by email the cyclist was in critical condition.

Police closed the intersection following the collision. It remained closed through rush hour. Officers had partially re-opened it by 6:30 p.m.
